Purpose of the association: The activity of the association is not profit-oriented.
The association aims to provide a politically independent representation of the interests of all students at Austrian universities in all areas. The association promotes democratic participation, transparency, and open, participatory decision-making by students.
The association is active in matters of education, social affairs, community, inclusion and equality, culture, sustainability, environment and climate, science and research ethics, and health, insofar as these affect students.
According to its statutes, the association pursues exclusively and directly non-profit purposes and is therefore a non-profit association within the meaning of the applicable tax regulations. Any purposes not privileged under tax regulations are entirely subordinate to the privileged purposes and are pursued at most to the extent of 10% of total resources.
